About foundation

“Petros Aloyan” (PA) Foundation is a nonprofit organization, founded by Hayk Aloyan, in memory of his father, a well-known and renowned academic, Petros Aloyan, PhD in Geology, an academic at the Engineering Academy of Natural Sciences,  the laureate of the USSR and the Republic of Armenia State Prizes. 

The members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees are philanthropists, artists, specialists in medicine, law and business.

Health programs of the PA Foundation aim at improving the health of children living in Armenia, by providing them equal access to quality medical care.

Since 2017, the Petros Aloyan Foundation, in cooperation with the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia and Mediamax News Agency, has expressed its readiness to finance the prize in the name of Jurgis Baltrushaitis in the category of "Preservation and Restoration of Historical and Architectural Heritage", which is awarded for the best Master's thesis of Yerevan’s National University of Architecture and Construction.
